Thanksgiving is a day for Americans to appreciate what they have, and every year Americans spend the holiday professing to give thanks and be grateful for just that: what they're fortunate to have.
But too many then head off the very next morning in a crazed pursuit of precisely the opposite: what they don't have.

Minnesota State has traditionally been known for being a suitcase school, meaning that a majority of students go home to stay with mom and dad on Friday and come back on Sunday.
But what about those students who actually need suitcases to get home?
Apparently the university thinks that one day - one of the busiest travel days of the year, no less - is ample time for out-of-state students to get home for Thanksgiving.
