It's official, "Twilight" fever has taken over the world. At the moment, you cannot walk anywhere without being reminded that the second of Stephenie Meyer's popular book series is about to be released in the cinema. Battle Studies reminds me of why I love John Mayer. Mayer's vocals change between whimsical and weighty with the mood of each song, and even from measure to measure and from note to note. His falsetto is characteristically elegant and heartbreaking.
