I am writing this message because of how a feel about my faith and having saying that I am not happy about the article and if you can see where I am coming from. If you want to educate people you have right to do anything but I believe it would be great if you see the positive side of everything. Saying or writing negative thinks on some people religion I don't see any benefit or reward but we as Muslim don't see as right thing to do of this article. Thank you

dear mr editor i understand that you will be publishing a certain cartoon in your magezine. please let me tell you that a cartoon of our holy prophet peace be upon him is very offensive. as we feel he was too importan and that no one that saw him lives therefore the cartoon will be accurate. i have great respect for your paper and would be evry disappointed if you do go ahead an publish that cartoon. we dont want our prophet peace be upon him to be mocked in any way. you see mr editor its a sin to take pictures in our religion, as no angle would come to the place where there is a picture. and well we dont want our prophet peace be upon him to be pictured in anyway shape or form. please know that we muslims going to mctc take this matter very seriously. we ask you to not alliante us and let us all be student freinds. publishing that cartoon will definetly stop us from concentrating on our studies and emotionally mess with our heads. i thank you in advance. sincerly yours maryan adan.

I feel offended about the publication your about to make, that is about my great prophet Mohammad (saw) it is an insult to my religion my believe in islam. I believe City college News encourages tolerance, peaceful coexistance among students, and more importantly preaches respect for each others culture, religion, ethnicity and understanding. And by publishing anything that makes part of MCTC community feel offended will lower it's reputation, and going against it founding ideal of being an informative news paper. religion is a very sensitive issue in todays world, and by respecting others religion will hormanise relationship between diffrent people with different religions. If the City College News wants to educate other students and college community about islam and it's prophet it can do so by contacting muslim students association leaders and advisors. I understand the freedom of press, and i'm for freedom of speech, but again we have to respect each other and not try to offend our fellow humanbeings by taking advantage of freedom of press.
