MINNEAPOLIS (Dec. 5, 2009) -- Freshman point guard Freddie Burton hit clutch free throws to lift the Minneapolis Community and Technical College over the Northland Pioneers in men's basketball team this afternoon at Bowman Hall.

The Mavericks improved to 6-1 while the Pioneers fell to 5-2.
